Otra tradición de la navidad en España es el Sorteo extraordinario de Navidad o lotería de Navidad que se realiza el 22 de diciembre a partir de las 9:15 h. Este sorteo se realiza desde 1812, cuando tuvo lugar en Cádiz, y, para muchos españoles, es la actividad que da inicio a la Navidad en España.

 Christmas Eve dinner in Spain takes place every December 24. This dinner, previous to Christmas Day, constitutes a family rite and it is usually held in the homes of the Spaniards with the whole family.

Although the dishes vary according to each family and each area of ​​Spain, there is something that is always fulfilled: it is a very abundant dinner, in which there are starters, main course, dessert and, finally, a great variety of sweets, including nougat and marzipan

It is tradition that during that evening on Christmas Eve the King of Spain gives a speech addressed to all Spaniards, which is broadcast on television.

The day after Christmas Eve dinner, that is, on December 25, Christmas Day is celebrated. On this day it is common to continue with family gatherings and meals, the most common being the famous Christmas lunch at noon.

Although it is normal in Spain to give the gifts on The Three Wise Men Day, it is increasingly common among many families who give themselves this day, in which the figure of Santa Claus is represented by the influence of Anglo-Saxon culture.

NOCHEBUENA Y NAVIDAD.

La cena de Nochebuena en España tiene lugar cada 24 de diciembre. Esta cena, previa al día de Navidad, constituye todo un rito familiar y suele celebrarse en los hogares de los españoles junto a toda la familia.

Aunque los platos varían según cada familia y cada zona de España, hay algo que siempre se cumple: es una cena muy abundante, en la que hay entrantes, plato principal, postre y, finalmente, una gran variedad de dulces, entre ellos turrones y mazapanes.

Es tradición que esa noche el Rey de España emita un discurso dirigido a todos los españoles, el cual es retransmitido por televisión.

Al día siguiente de la cena de Nochebuena, es decir, el 25 de diciembre, se celebra el día de Navidad. En este día es común continuar con las reuniones y las comidas familiares, siendo lo más común que se celebre la famosa comida de Navidad a mediodía.

Aunque lo normal en España es dar los regalos el día de Reyes, es cada vez más habitual entre muchas familias que se entreguen este día, en el que se hace representativa la figura de Papá Noel o Santa Claus por la influencia de la cultura anglosajona.
